The project provides for the construction of Yakutia’s first year-round greenhouse complex for vegetables and herbs with the total area of 3.3 ha and a CHP complex, office, warehouse, and service buildings in Kangalassy ASEZ.

The greenhouse complex to be created will supply the region with locally produced vegetables and herbs of much better quality as compared to Chinese produce currently prevailing in the market.

To secure the best possible results, Russian specialists will cooperate closely with the Hokkaido Corporation that possesses abundant experience in implementing agro-engineering projects and use Japanese technologies and expertise in growing vegetables under cover.

The complex is supposed to reach its design capacity by 2022 growing up to 1820 tonnes of cucumbers, 417 tonnes of tomatoes, and 46 tonnes of fresh herbs.
